Mr. Lowell Elson Eaves, age 93, of 4434 Hwy. 120, Buchanan passed away Saturday, September 12, 2009. Mr. Eaves was born in Haralson County on January 22, 1916. He was the son of the late David Eaves and the late Cora Beavers Eaves. Mr. Eaves was retired from Arrow Shirt Company in Buchanan. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Sanders Eaves; two sisters, Estelle Edwards and Gertrude Lowe; three brothers, David Eaves, Fred Eaves and Ted Eaves. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Charles Eaves of Buchanan and Paul and Margie Eaves of Buchanan; four grandchildren, Holly Rochester, Paige Roberts, Chip Eaves and Robert Eaves; two great grandchildren, Raven Rochester and Hudson Roberts; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 14, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Danny Hutcheson, Rev. Randy Rooks officiating. The Eulogy will be by Raven Rochester. Music will be rendered by Kersha Cartwright. Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Vance Posey, Hudson Roberts, Trent Roberts, Chip Eaves, Robert Eaves and Franklin Kay. Serving as an honorary pallbearer is Jimmy Brannon. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
