Mrs. Mary Louise Gilbert Tucker, age 82, of 114 Kimball Pass, Buchanan passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2008. Mrs. Tucker was born in Dekalb County, Alabama on July 26, 1925. She was the daughter of the late George Henry Gilbert and the late India Anna Maddox Gilbert. Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Truett; second husband, Harlan R. Tucker; one daughter, Linda Robinson; one son, Van Truett; three sisters, Novella Pack, Marie Jones and Bobbie Kilgore; one brother, Dick Gilbert. Survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, James and Susie Truett of Buchanan, Tex and Glenda Truett of Bremen, Rex and Janice Truett of Temple, Johnny Ray and Denise Truett of Bremen and Gene and Elizabeth Truett of Bremen; one son-in-law, Jerry Robinson of Muscadine, AL; three sisters, Jimmie Williams Tallapoosa, Audrey Frost of Tallapoosa and Wilma Frost of Chatsworth; one brother, G.H. Gilbert of Tallapoosa; thirty two grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Buddy Gentry and Rev. Sam Ball officiating. Music will be rendered by Kathy Roberts and Krysta Roberts. Interment will follow in the New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Cody Shelton, Ben Bentley, David Truett, Brandon Brown, Robbie Verner and Butch Truett. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
