Mr. Louis Allen Hampton, age 66, of Tallapoosa passed away Monday, December 11, 2017.  Mr. Hampton was born in Alamo, Tennessee, on July 30, 1951.  He was the son of the late Colus Hampton and the late Mollie Palmer Hampton.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Barrett of Illinois; three sons, Steve Hampton of Aragon, Mike Hampton and Chris Hampton both of Tallapoosa; two sisters, Lavelle Crowe and Shela Starmach both of Illinois; three brothers, Ves Hampton and Mike Hampton both of Illinois, and Tommy Hampton of Moody, AL; nine grandchildren, Dakota Hampton, Ashley Hampton, Xoie Hampton, Bailey Hampton, Christina Hampton, Alicia Lyle, Blake Edwards, Mackenzie Smith and Cole Smith; four great grandchildren, Tagan, Caden, Savannah and Brantley; and a number of other relatives.

No services are planned at this time.
