Mrs. Lorraine Eliza Huyler Nichols, age 95, of Temple passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013.  Mrs. Nichols was born in Yonkers, New York on September 20, 1918.  She was the daughter of the late Richard Henry Huyler and the late Susan Eleanor Dulforce Huyler.  Mrs. Nichols was a homemaker.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Nichols, Sr.; and one daughter, Lori Kent.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Geraldine Nichols, Jr. of Villa Rica; four grandchildren, Karen Mullins, Ellen Ferris, Emily Hendon and Matthew Kent; four great grandchildren, Jacob Fuller, Matthew Mullins, Aaron Mullins and Seth Mullins; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 28, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Danny Hutcheson officiating.  Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00 P.M.

until 9:00 P.M.
