Ms. Loretta Sue Jiles Phillips, age 67, of Tallapoosa passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016.  Ms. Phillips was born in Carrollton, Georgia on July 15, 1949.  She was the daughter of the late Milton Thomas Jiles and the late Helen Joyce Davis Jiles.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Lynn Phillips.

Survivors include two sons, William Phillips and Alan Thomas Jiles both of Bowdon; three sisters, Sheila Ann Barbour of Hartland, VT, Patricia Lynn Robins of Cedar Rapids, IA and Robin Duke of Carrollton; six brothers, Ronald Thomas Jiles of Buchanan, Enoch Eugene Jiles of Carrollton, Hugh Samuel Jiles of Muscadine, AL, Phillip Anthony Jiles of Felton, Timothy Jiles of Roanoke, AL and Mark Neal Jiles of Carrollton; three grandchildren, William Thomas Phillips, Samuel Joe Phillips and Ashely Sue Phillips; ten great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Desiree Duke officiating.  In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, she was cremated.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
