Ms. Loretta Lynn Barkley Dobbs, age 48, of Carrollton passed away Friday, December 30, 2011. Ms. Dobbs was born in Atlanta on March 8, 1963. She was the daughter of the late Louis Barkley and the late Gladys Mae Maner Barkley. Ms. Dobbs was a self-employed plumber. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Sweatman; and one brother, Doyle Barkley.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel Christopher Dobbs of Carrollton and Charles Andrew Pollard of Carrollton; one sister, Brenda Gail Barkley of Buchanan; two brothers, Mark Barkley of Columbus and Rex Barkley of Waco; and a number other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel. Cremation will follow the service. The burial of the cremated remains will be Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Polk Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M.
