Lora Michelle Edge Lykins, age 57 of Felton, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024. She was born on January 28, 1967 in Atlanta to Larry Edge and Patricia Puckett Edge.

In her free time, Lora could be found camping with friends, knitting or gardening. She was known for her amazing cooking skills and loved studying the genealogy of her family. She was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Colonial Dames.

The better part of the last ten years has been spent with her grand kids. She never missed a special occasion or sporting event. There was nothing she loved more than the three of them. They deemed her as their "Honey" and soon after everyone else followed in suit. She was the best wife, Mama and Honey. She loved their Sunday school class very much and valued the friendships that were made over the years. She fought a great fight over the last year and half and always tried to point others towards Him throughout her journey. She will be greatly missed and will remain greatly loved.

Survivors include her husband, Mitchell D. Lykins of Felton; daughter and son-in-law, Olivia and Jacob Pitts of Buchanan; son, Garret Lykins of Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Stephen and Candice Edge of Dallas and Christopher  and Darla Edge of Cummings; grandchildren, Harper and Asher Crim and Rylee Lykins and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Lora's wishes she will be cremated.

The family will host a Celebration of Life on June 22, 2024 at Central Baptist Church of Douglasville at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, we request that a donation be made to the "Honey Rock Memorial Garden" as the family plans to build a memory garden on their land.
