Mrs. Lola Ann Key Gladden, age 83, of Tallapoosa passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015.  Mrs. Gladden was born in Tallapoosa, Georgia on September 22, 1931, the daughter of the late Benjamin Stanley Key and the late Ellen Hazel Law Key.  Mrs. Gladden was an extraordinary homemaker and the beloved caretaker of three generations of her family as well as a seamstress for many years at Sewell's and Darsey Manufacturing.  A Baptist by faith, she attended Wesley Chapel and Pine Grove Schools before graduating from Tallapoosa High School in 1948.  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching cooking shows in her spare time. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Lefler Gladden; and four brothers, Eual Key, Ollie Key, Ralph Key and Harrison Key.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Teresa and Dewayne Baggett of Waco and Denise Robinson of Tallapoosa; one son, Dale Gladden of Tallapoosa; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Marshall Rollins of North Charleston, SC and Martha Jane and Johnny Tolleson of Carrollton; one brother and sister-in-law, Herby and Elaine Key of Corinth, MS; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Eual (Janie) Key of Leesburg, Mrs. Ollie (Nell) Key of Augusta and Mrs. Ralph (Jo) Key of Tallapoosa; five grandchildren, Jason Baggett, Jesse and his wife Jennifer Baggett, Jenny and her husband Caleb Gooden, Yvonne and Joshua Wilburn and Devan Gladden Robinson; four great grandchildren, Cody Baggett, Maeleigh Baggett, Jesse Baggett, Jr. and Chance Baggett; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rodney Wilburn and Judge Eddie Hulsey officiating.  Music will be rendered by Harold McWhorter and Jesse Baggett and Family.  Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery in Tallapoosa with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jason Baggett, Jesse Baggett, Devan Gladden-Robinson, Wade Gladden, Robert Tolleson, John Tolleson, and Dr. Joshua Wilburn.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Cody Baggett, Chance Baggett, Maeleigh Baggett and Jesse Baggett, Jr.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
