Mrs. Lizzie Fay Shaw Bishop, age 92, of Buchanan passed away Friday, September 22, 2017.  Mrs. Bishop was born in Alabama, on March 8, 1925.  She was the daughter of the late Jim Shaw and the late Mary Mann Shaw.  Mrs. Bishop was a homemaker.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.J. Bishop; and five brothers, James Shaw, Horace Shaw, Dean Shaw, E.C. Shaw and Preston Jack Shaw.

Survivors include one sister, June Morris of Buchanan; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 5:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Buddy Gentry and Rev. Randy Redden officiating.  Interment will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Dennis Shaw, Steve Vines, Zach Morris, Nathan Shaw and Shaun Coggins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M.
