Mrs. Linda Ann Buchanan Williams, age 53, of Oxford, Alabama passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Williams was born in Coweta County on October 28, 1958. She was the daughter of the late Herman Guy Buchanan and the late Linnie Ruth Hicks Buchanan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Williams; one daughter, Amanda Williams; and one brother, Lonnie Buchanan.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-;aw, Beverly and Tony Brownsword of Carrollton; one son, Ronnie Williams of Atlanta; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elaine and Melvin Cheatwood of Oxford, AL and Kathy Kingsmill and Tony Dalon of Roopville; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from Shiloh Church in Roopville with Rev. Randy Buchanan officiating. Music will be rendered by Shannon Britt and Deborah Hembree. Interment will follow in Shiloh Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Tony Dalon, Tony Brownsword, Clayton Kingsmill, Melvin Cheatwood, Tyler Winfrey and Dave Winfrey.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

The remains will lie in state at the Church Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.
