Ms. Linda Claudette Williams Summerville, age 68, of Bremen passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010. Ms. Summerville was born in Paulding County on June 7, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Claudie James Williams and the late Jewell Swanson Thompson. Ms. Summerville was a retired retail manager. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby Jerrell Summerville and Donald Wayne Summerville; and one brother, Willie Williams. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Darwyn and Kim Summerville of Villa Rica; one step-daughter, Melody Spurling of Buchanan; one step-son, Tim Muller of Buchanan; one sister, Georgia Burks of Bremen; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Gene Williams of Temple and Joe Wayne and Linda Williams of Temple; nine grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Villa Rica with Danny Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Marcus Newman, Mason Newman, Drew Newman, Jose Lopez, Allen Grimes, Adam Summerville and Dan Bailey. The remains will lie in state at the Church from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
