Ms. Linda Carol Yates Skinner, age 72, of Tallapoosa passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018. Ms. Skinner was born in Bremen, Georgia, on November 12, 1945.  She was the daughter of the late Ernest Yates and the late Dicie Cates Yates.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Juanita and Todd Miller of Fruithurst, AL, and Rhonda and Tony Pope of Buchanan; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Connie Skinner of Fruithurst, AL; two sisters, Naomi Benefield and Ola Jay Wilson both of Bowdon; six grandchildren, Paul Skinner, Christy Skinner, Eric Skinner, Sabrina Skinner, Ethan Pope and Toby and his wife Karen Pope; seventeen great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 12, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. from Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Roland Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
