Linda Jo Rayburn Entrekin, age 72 of Bremen, passed away early Saturday, February 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  Born on October 31, 1951, in Bowdon, she was the daughter of the late Buford Baxter Rayburn and the late Dessie Watson Rayburn.  In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Dawn Maxwell, her two sons, Willard Lee Maxwell and Michael Anthony Entrekin; her sisters, Shirley Roberts, Ila Powers, Jean Whaley, Barbara Butler, Mary Joyce Young, and Nellie Ann Rayburn; and her brothers, Sammy Rayburn and Randall Rayburn.

Linda enjoyed many things in life.  She spent many hours in her yard taking care of her flowers and also spent many hours in the kitchen cooking, baking and canning.  Linda's one vice was playing the lottery and she never missed an opportunity to buy a scratch off ticket.  But Linda's greatest passion was her family and taking care of them.  Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Barry Entrekin of Bremen; her daughter, Jennifer Epperson of Bremen; and her precious grandchildren: Jordan Smith, Zoie Epperson, Alie Maxwell, Dylan Maxwell, Alex Wheeler, and Jasmine Phillips.  Also surviving are her brothers, Ridley Rayburn of Douglasville, Steve Rayburn of Bremen, Donnie Rayburn of Bremen, and Ricky and Bonnie Rayburn of Bremen; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.

Funeral services for Linda Entrekin will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 11th, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ricky Rayburn and Rev. Anthony Puckett officiating.  Following the service Linda will be cremated, and the family is planning a spring interment at Stripling Chapel Cemetery in Carrollton.

The family will receive friends on Sunday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.
