Linda Turner Gray, age 79 of Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Born in Bowdon, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Hurst and Dora Turner. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Gilley (Bethany's father) and her husband, Anthony "Tony" Gray; her sisters Florence Garner, Syble Craft, Wylene Gore, Eunice Wood, and Cumi Rosch; and her brother, Agee Turner.
A beautiful, fun-loving woman, Linda enjoyed gardening and playing games. Many days you would find her and her friends playing Scrabble, Dominos, or whatever was the game of the day. Linda was a fabulous cook and lived for the holidays where her cooking excelled. Being near the water, especially the ocean, was her renewal and relaxation time. Linda loved her family dearly and treasured the times they spent together. Over the last few years, her Jack Russell, Benji, was her constant companion and friend. Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Bethany & David Clay of Wedowee; her granddaughter, Ashlyn & Dalton Difrederico; her great-granddaughter, Karsyn Kay Difrederico; and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In accordance with Linda's wishes, her family will host a celebration of life at a future date in lieu of a traditional funeral.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
