Linda Faye Carroll, age 66 of Buchanan, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025.  Born in Atlanta on February 8, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Herman Powers Carroll and the late Wanda Faye Smallwood Carroll.  In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her son, Daniel Campbell and her sister, Becky Reed.

Linda's loving and caring nature was shared with others as she spent many years working in food service for area nursing homes.  In her leisure time, she enjoyed crocheting and putting family photo albums together.  Being outdoors working in the yard and garden also brought her much enjoyment But Linda's passion was her family.  She dearly loved the grands and great-grands who lovingly called her "Nanny."

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, William Miller, Jr. of Buchanan; her daughter, Tiffany (Daniel) Britt of Bremen; her precious grandchildren: Kayleb & Kaylen, Austin & Destini, Kambryn, Ashton, Bailey, and Dawson; and nine great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are her sister, Judy (Gary) Smith of Cedar Bluff, Alabama; her brother, Lloyd Carroll of Buchanan; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Linda Carroll will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Shoemaker and Rev. Ricky Goldin officiating.  Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 24th from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, and on Sunday from Noon until the funeral hour.
