Obituary

Linda Gale Arnold Goldin, age 72 of Bremen, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Fulton County on June 25, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Arnold and the late Avoline Clark Bowles.  In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her sisters, Tad and Sissy, and nephews, Oliver Gene Madden and Kenneth Lynch.

Linda was an amazing mom.  As a young single mother, she made sure Joey made it to ballgames and anywhere else he needed to go.  She enjoyed dirt track racing and was a gifted seamstress.  Linda also enjoyed painting, especially ceramics.  In her later years, she could be found gardening or watching her favorite westerns. But her passion was her family.  She loved spending time with her family, taking care of them and traveling on vacations with them.  She was called mom by many and always was there to take care of those who needed her.  She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 42 years, Charles Goldin of Bremen; her son and daughter-in-law, Joey & Amanda Guffin of Tallapoosa; her daughter, Sherri Evans of Bremen; her grandchildren: Crystal Guffin, Mackinzley Guffin, Heavenlee Guffin, Dusty Smith, Jonathan Duran, and April Whitaker; and several great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are her brothers, Wayne (Sherry) Arnold of Conyers and Barry Arnold of Garden City; sister-in-law, Juanita Goldin; special nieces and nephews: Linda & Wayne Madden, Ruth Lynch, James Goldin, Vickie Smith, Sierra Arnold, Barry Arnold, Irma Jean Goldin, Christopher Goldin, Steven Goldin, Junior Goldin, Charlotte Wright, Donna Wise, Terry Green, Tina Andrews, Scott Shubert and Larry Shubert; her cousin and best friend, Shirley Arnold; special friends, Cathy & Charles Brown; and many other extended family members.

In keeping with Linda's wishes, she will be cremated.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Charles Goldin, 410 Atlantic Ave, Bremen, GA, to help with her expenses.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory is honored to serve the cremation needs of the Goldin family.
