Mrs. Lillian Aster Ragan Phillips, age 77, of Buchanan passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010. Mrs. Phillips was born in Haralson County on June 22, 1933. She was the daughter of the late James Culman Ragan and the late Floyd Caldwell Ragan. Mrs. Phillips was retired from Arrow Shirt Company in Buchanan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Phillips; one daughter, Terri Phillips, one son, Michael Lee; two brothers, Jack Ragan and J.T. Ragan; and one grandson, Joseph Lee. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Margie Lee of Buchanan; one brother and sister-in-law, Max and Mattie Sue Ragan of Buchanan; six grandchildren, David Lee of Bremen, Kim Causey of Buchanan, Bobby Lee, Jr. of Rockmart, Heath Lee of Buchanan, Kelly Bridgers of Buchanan and Carlie Bridgers of Clarksville, TN; eight great grandchildren, Torri Causey, Abigail Ragan Lee, Kaleigh Lee, Kira Lee, Jayden Lee, Tyler Lee, C.J. Bridgers and Ben Bridgers; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jason Spray officiating. Music will be rendered by Bonnie Sanders. Interment will follow in the Tallapoosa-East Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Heath Lee, David Lee, Carlie Bridgers, Kenny Ragan, Irvin Austin and Phillip Morton. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Lee, Jr. and Kelly Bridgers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
