Mrs. Lillie Mae Cain Kirk, age 79, of Buchanan passed away Friday, June 22, 2018.  Lillie was born in Fulton County, Georgia on November 4, 1938.  She is preceded in death by her parents John Cain and Mandy Ray Cain; infant daughter Melinda Kirk; one son, Gerald Jeffrey Kirk; one sister Louise Wallace and two brothers J.C. Cain and Junior Cain. She graduated from Roswell High School in 1957 and drove a school bus for 33 years.

Survivors include her husband Gerald Blanton Kirk of Buchanan; one daughter and her husband Denora and Bobby Heath of Buchanan; one granddaughter and her husband Kahyla and Ryan Healey of Buchanan and one great grandchild Maggie Healey of Buchanan and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM from Tallapoosa East Baptist Church with Doctor Mason Bush officiating. Interment will follow in Tallapoosa East Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Kirk will lie in state at the church on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.

Family will receive friends Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
