Mrs. Lida Elizabeth (Danner) Turner, age 85, of Buchanan passed Friday, April 19, 2013. Mrs. Turner was born in Centre, Alabama on Friday, January 27, 1928. She was the daughter of the late John Danner and the late Lucille Piper Danner. Besides her parents Mrs. Turner is preceded in death by her husband C.W. Turner; Two brothers, John O. Danner and Harold Danner; and one great-grandson Jake Ray.

Mrs. Turner was a loving mother, Homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Among other interests Mrs. Turner also enjoyed Bowling and Fishing.

Mrs. Lida Turner is survived by her two daughters, Betty Ann Turner and Becky McEver of Buchanan; One son James Wendell Turner of Buchanan; Three sisters, Kathleen Cantrell and Shelvia Baker of Emerson, Georgia and (Patsy) Betty Simmons of Cartersville; Grandchildren Tandy Turner, Lida McEver, Lisa Flynt, Randy Davis and Jeff Davis; Great-Grandchildren Tyler McEver, Kalie Flynt, Kylie Flynt and Katelyn Flynt.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 21, 2013 between the hours of 5 P.M. and 9 P.M. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 3 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Reverend Darrell Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in the McEver-Turner Family Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Tandy Turner, Kyle Flynt, Reverend Darrell Bailey, Tyler McEver, Randy Davis and Colby Sides.
