Mrs. Lera Beatrice Williams Witcher, age 86, of Tallapoosa passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013. Mrs. Witcher was born in Muscadine, Alabama on January 30, 1927. She was the daughter of the late George Franklin Williams and the late Lera Hutcheson Williams. Mrs. Witcher co-owned and operated Oscar and Bea''s Donut Shop in Leesburg Florida for almost 37 years before retiring in 2001 and moving back to her hometown of Tallapoosa, Georgia. She was preceded in death by 2 granddaughters, Tina Hendricks and Harlee Daniels; five sisters, Pauline McLain, Geneva Mullins, Irene Witcher, Betty Norton and Kathleen Crew; five brothers, Clifton Williams, Frank Williams, J.B. Williams, Walter Williams and Doyle Williams.

Survivors include her husband, Oscar Witcher of Tallapoosa, GA; one son, Doyle (WonShil) Witcher of Calhoun, GA, Lanette (Joe) Daniels of Tallapoosa, GA. and Bonita (Harvey)Beasley of Wildwood FL , 11 grandchildren, Nadine (Joe)Cooper, Alex and Kim Witcher, Traci Hendricks, Tonia Whalen, Jeff (Anna) , Sonja J. Marie and Lee (Jen) Daniels, Brian Beasley, Stacey (Jeb) Dotson and Kevin (Sara) Beasley ; 20 great grandchildren , Emma and Jack Cooper, Ashley (Jared) Shealy, Andrew and Michael Whalen, Adam, Aubrey, Aaron, Chealby, Marissa and Logan Daniels, Crystal (Todd) Lau, Bradley, Cody and Brianna Beasley and Sabal Wiley, Delaney and Lacey Dotson, Tayten Beasley and Aryona McCurry; Elijah and Noah Shealy, Tyler and Hailey Lau, McKenzie Beasley and 2 on the way.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 23, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. from Providence Baptist Church with Dean Williams and Dr. Mason Bush officiating. Music will be rendered by Susie Williams. Interment will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Tallapoosa, GA.

The remains will lie in state at the Church Monday from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
