Mr. Lemuel Douglas Evans, age 68, of Dallas passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016.  Mr. Evans was born in Cobb County, Georgia on March 17, 1948.  He was the son of the late Alonzo David Evans and the late Mary Pauline Cantrell Evans.  Mr. Evans was a retired carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Holcombe Evans of Dallas; one daughter, April Evans Cowan of Aragon; one son, David Evans of Dallas; one brother, Dewayne Evans of Temple; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

No services are planned at this time.  In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, he was cremated.
