Leila Elizabeth Crumbley, age 75 of Tallapoosa, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. She was born on February 12, 1949, to the late Wilburn Parks and the late Mary Arlene Wilson Parks. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Crumbley, Sr. and brother, Bobby R. Parks.

Leila loved her family fiercely and in earlier years loved camping with them.  Being a social butterfly, she also enjoyed spending time with her friends, especially tracking down all the great yard sales in the area.  Leila was a member of the Tallapoosa Garden Club and the Steadman Baptist Church.  In her spare time, she spent many enjoyable hours working puzzles.  She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Survivors include her children, Melinda Denise Lynn of Keeling, VA, James Ray Lynn and Heather of Douglasville and Carl Ray Crumbley, Jr. and Ashley of Acworth; brothers, Bill Parks  of Ellijay, Kenneth Parks of California; and her grandchildren, Charity Lynn, Cassidy Lynn Burdeshaw, Walker Crumbley, Addison Crumbley, Dylan Alvarado and Morgan Garrett.  Also surviving is her great grandchild, Ezra Lynn and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes, she was cremated.

The family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 3:00 PM from Steadman Baptist Church with Reverend Randy Robinson officiating.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
