Lee Stuart David, Jr.

October 30, 1961 — February 10, 2026

Tallapoosa

Lee Stuart David, Jr., lovingly known as "Stu," left this world peacefully on February 10, 2026. Stu leaves behind a legacy filled with warmth and kindness that touched the lives of all who knew him. He is now reunited in eternal rest with his beloved wife, Bernice Runette Thorn David, his father, Lee Stuart David, Sr, and his mother, Hazel Henry David.

Stu's personality was marked by his unwavering willingness to help others. Whether it was during church functions or while volunteering for various projects, he approached every task with an infectious positivity that inspired those around him. His love for his church family at Rehoboth Christian Center was evident in his commitment and dedication to the community, always ready to lend a hand wherever he could. Some of his fondest pastimes were driving his truck, meeting with friends, sharing laughter, and enjoying delicious meals together. In his spare time, Stu found delight in watching wrestling, a hobby that seemed to transport him into a world of excitement and camaraderie. His favorite wrestler was Tommy Rich, and one of Stu's prized possessions was Rich's  autographed championship wrestling belt

Stu's memory will forever be cherished by those lucky enough to call him a friend. His memory will be held dear by his church family, who will carry forward the spirit of generosity and kindness that he embodied.

A celebration of his life will be held at Rehoboth Christian Center in Tallapoosa on Sunday, March 1, 2026, following the 10:30 morning service.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is honored to serve the cremation needs of Mr. David.
