Ms. Laura Nell Vick-Riggleman, age 69 of Bremen, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022, in a local hospital.  She was born in Sylacauga, Alabama, on November 19, 1952.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Jewel Vick, and a son, Tony Sanders.  Laura was a member of the Waco Methodist Church.

Laura had a big, beautiful smile that matched her big heart.  She loved everyone and was loved by everyone.  Enjoying the outdoors, she especially loved being on the riverbank fishing or camping.  Laura retired from Hardee's as the biscuit maker.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Andy Smith of Carrollton; her two sons, Donnie Sanders of Buchanan, and James Scarborough, Jr. of Louisiana; and her companion, James Roger Smith.  Also surviving are eight grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

In accordance with her wishes, Laura Vick-Riggleman will be cremated.  The family plans to host a memorial celebration at a later date.
