Mr. Larry Clay Payton, age 51 of Buchanan, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019. He was born in Carrollton on June 7, 1968 to the late Larry E. Payton and Carolyn Word Payton.

Besides his mother he is survived by, two sisters and brother-in-law, Victoria (Ethan) Hutson of Camp LeJune, NC and Melody Parks of Buchanan; one brother, Chris Payton of Buchanan; four nieces and nephews, Neil Ward of Buchanan, Molly Parks of Buchanan, Jessica Payton of Winston, Blake Payton of Bremen and several great nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In keeping with Mr. Payton's wishes he was cremated.

The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Covenant Life Church in Bremen at 4:00 PM and will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
