Mr. Larry Eric Parker, age 68, of Tallapoosa passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011. Mr. Parker was born in East Point, Georgia on August 9, 1943. He was the son of the late Leonard Grover Parker, Sr. and the late Mattie Ethel Banks Parker. Mr. Parker was a retired drywall installer.

Survivors include one daughter, Rachel Brett of Tallapoosa; one son, Eric Parker of Riverdale; three sisters, Linda McKinny of Jonesboro, Mary Doige of Danville, VA and Joyce Hudson of South Carolina; six brothers, Leonard Parker, Jr. of East Point, Raymond Parker of Jonesboro, Robert Parker of Union City, Mike Parker of Concord, Paul Parker of Morrow and Ashley Parker of East Point; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
