Larry Dean Harris, age 81 of Tallapoosa, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He was born on August 31, 1940 in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Virgil Lee Harris and the late Geneva Carnes Harris. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Sally Lorraine Harris; one sister, Dorothy Hill and one brother, Jerry Edward Harris.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Rose House Harris of Tallapoosa; son, Jack Carlton Harris of Tallapoosa; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy Harris Armstrong and Joseph of Cleveland, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Dyna Harris of Broken Arrow, OK; three grandchildren, Devon and Warren Gregory, Samuel Dean Harris and Elizabeth Rose Harris; four great grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM from Highland Baptist Church with Brother Homer Wysner and Brother Barry Hutcheson officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the church from 12:00 Noon until the service hour.

In keeping with Larry's wishes he will be cremated following the service.
