Larry Travis Cash, age 75 of Tallapoosa, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, in a local hospital. He was born in Bremen on September 3, 1947, to the late Joe Brown Cash and the late Florence Leary Golden Cash. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by daughter, Rhonda Gray; two sisters, Zettie Jackson and Brenda Rowell and one brother, Henry Cash.

Larry was a man who loved his family and life.  A retired plumber, he was the kind of person who would help anyone who asked and had so much patience when dealing with family and friends. Fishing, watching TV westerns, and playing cards and checkers with his family were favorite pastimes; even the times when he would win with a little slight of hand.  Larry enjoyed a good joke and could tell the best ones.  We will all miss his laughter and his unconditional love.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Cash of Tallapoosa; his four daughters and son-in-law, Kimberly Chappell of Tallapoosa, Hope McKenzie of Carrollton, Sara and Lance Limbaugh of Tallapoosa and Jennifer Gray of Buchanan; and his two sons, Craig Cash and Jeffery Gray both of South Georgia.  Also surviving are his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Oscar and Debra Cash of Rockmart and Raymond and Dwana Cash of Tallapoosa; 20 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; special friends, Tommy and Suzie Laminack of Tallapoosa and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 3:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Reverend Johnny Holcombe officiating and the eulogy being provided by Richard McCollum.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
