Lanny Jason Hobbs, age 48 of Bremen, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023.  He was born on May 1, 1974, in Carrollton, GA, to Linda McGuire Hobbs and the late Lanny Franklin Hobbs.  In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Christine Carroll Hobbs, Benjamin Franklin Hobbs, Lillie Doris Taylor McGuire, and Homer Walton McGuire.  Jason worked in construction and was a lover of the outdoors.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Hobbs of Bremen; his mother, Linda McGuire Hobbs of Waco; aunt, Tammy (Eddie) Buchli of Marietta; uncles, Sammy (Debbie) Hobbs of Buchanan, Anthony (Beverly) McGuire of Bremen, and Stanley (Ann) McGuire of Temple.

In accordance with the family's wishes, Jason was cremated.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
