Ms. Ladell Cook Sexton, age 82, of Buchanan passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016.  Ms. Sexton was born in Haralson County, Georgia on November 17, 1933.  She was the daughter of the late Stanley Cook and the late Irma Mullins Cook.

Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Freda Williams and Dynna Wilson both of Buchanan, Kelli and Joey Bell of Rockmart and Becky and Greg Hopkins of Cedartown; four grandchildren, Joey Hunt, Jr., Ashley Wright, Adam Summerville and April Bradley; four great grandchildren, Nicholas Robinson, Jaylin Hunt, Kayden Summerville and Sawyer Bradley; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brian McGarity officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
