Mr. Kevin Richard Mullinax, Sr., age 49, of Buchanan passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Mr. Mullinax was born in Fulton County on September 12, 1961. He was the son of Jerol Dwayne Mullinax and Geraldine Hartness Mullinax. Mr. Mullinax worked in the construction industry.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Richard and T.J. Mullinax, Jr. of Rockmart; parents, Jerol and Geraldine Hartness Mullinax of Rockmart; fiancAC., Gloria Shields of Buchanan; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Cheryl and Shelton Morrison of Powder Springs, Rhonda and Ronnie Milam of Douglasville and Wendy Mullinax of Conroe, TX; one brother, Kenneth Mullinax of Lithia Springs; one grandchild, Cason Dwayne Mullinax; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Stanley Warren officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
