Kenneth N. Williams

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Newt Williams of Tallapoosa.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Kenneth was born on September 13, 1934, in Tallapoosa, Georgia.  He graduated Tallapoosa High School in 1953.  He made a career at Lockheed-Martin in Marietta from 1954-1992.  Kenneth was an excellent farmer and had the best garden in Tallapoosa.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, June S. Williams; his parents Robert and Docie Williams; his sister, Geneva Newman; and his brother, Melvis Williams

He is survived by his daughters, Judy (Dale) Westmoreland and Susan (Mike) Argo; his grandsons, Patrick (Melissa) Westmoreland and Alan (Jessica) Westmoreland; and his great-grandchildren, Alyssa (Jasper) Reddish, Peyton Westmoreland, Kynsley Westmoreland, Mason Westmoreland, and Easton Westmoreland. He is also survived by his sister, Clara Nell Chandler, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services for Kenneth Williams will be conducted on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Bryan and Reverend Marlin Miller officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.  Kenneth will be laid to rest next to June at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Bremen with Patrick Westmoreland, Alan Westmoreland, Mason Westmoreland, Easton Westmoreland, Richard Williams, and Larry Chandler serving as pallbearers.
