Kendrell "KD" Lemont Dorsey, age 26 of Tallapoosa, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020. He was born in New York on January 2, 1994.

Survivors include his wife, Brittany Nicole Shoemaker Dorsey of Tallapoosa; mother, Elaine Buchanan; daughter, Haylee Shoemaker; mother and father-in-law, Teresa Jeffares and Jodie Shoemaker; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jessica and Shelby Nguyen; two brothers, Robin Buchanan and Joey Shoemaker; two nephews, Justice and Riot Nguyen; cousins, Ricky and Neva Hyatt and JJ and Keshia Holcombe; aunt and uncle, Teresa and Peanut Prater and several very special cousins and other relatives and friends.

In keeping with KD's wishes he will be cremated.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan has charge of the cremation arrangements.
