Kendra Shelby DiPaolo Higgins, age 49, passed away on June 14, 2025, in Bremen, Georgia.  Born on July 27, 1975 in Corbin, Kentucky, Kendra was a longtime resident of Douglasville, Georgia.

Kendra was a devoted mother to her four children - Jessica, Angelisa, Nicholas, and Joey - whom she loved fiercely and of whom she was endlessly proud.  She poured her heart into raising them, often balancing the demands of work, school, and motherhood with determination and grace.  Her children were her greatest joy and her proudest accomplishment.

She also leaves behind her beloved husband, Brian, and lovingly embraced his daughters - Tiffany, Emily, Chloe, and Lexie - as a part of her family.  She cherished her many grandchildren and the time she spent with them.

A skilled and compassionate registered nurse, Kendra dedicated her life to caring for others.  Her career spanned many years and specialties, and she was known for her gentle touch and tireless work ethic.

Kendra found joy in life's simple pleasures - playing the piano, singing karaoke with her bestie, Pam, and sitting quietly by the ocean.  She will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and unwavering strength.

In keeping with Kendra's wishes, she was cremated.
