Kathy Delores Davis Cash, age 73 of Buchanan, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Bremen, Georgia, on August 14, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Ruby Nell Worthy Davis Swann and the late Avery Clyde "Jim" Davis.  In addition to her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by the love of her life, Mitchell "Mickey" Cash; her granddaughter, Breigh Smith; and a great-grandson, Briggs Ingram.

Kathy, always the life of the party, loved line dancing and making people laugh. With her outgoing personality, she excelled in customer service and loved to work.  In her leisure time, Kathy enjoyed working in her yard tending to the flowers and going to yard sales.  She loved her little dogs and spent many enjoyable hours watching TV.  A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Kathy dearly loved spending time with her family.  Her vibrant personality and beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Mitchell & Tonya Cash of Newell, Alabama, and Kellie Cash Smith of Buchanan; her precious grandchildren: Kirstie Butler, Chelsey (Caleb) west, Brandon (Jessica) Cash, Blake (Mary) Smith, Grant (Christina) Hurston, Clay Hurston, and Meshea (Josh) Ingram; her sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jo & Larry Lanier of Tallapoosa; and her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry & Gayle Davis of Anderson, South Carolina.  Also surviving are her fiance` Royce Henry and his daughter, Monica Henry; her great-grandchildren: Kaiden Butler, Mitchell Umberger, Landon Arp, Paizlee Butler, Brooks Teehan, Iris Teehan, Stetson Cash, Alaina Smith, Bailey Smith, Stella Smith, Sunny Smith, Ally Ingram, Hadley Hurston, Weston Hurston, and Hudson Hurston; as well as many extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Kathy Cash will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, September 2nd, at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Alton Stamey officiating and Brother Allen Williams delivering the eulogy.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM
