Mrs. Kathleen Sally Cheatwood Davis, age 72, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012. Mrs. Davis was born in Haralson County on March 3, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Dan Cheatwood and the late Minnie Sanders Cheatwood. Mrs. Cheatwood was a procurement specialist with the U.S. Army. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Bertha Cheatwood, Jennie Ruth Lance, Jewell Wells and Annice White; and one brother, Will Cheatwood.

Survivors include her husband, William L. Davis of Huntsville, AL; two sons, Michael R. Davis of Huntsville, AL and Philip T. Davis of Grant, AL; one sister, Etha Belle Bentley of Waco; one brother, Mose Cheatwood of Buchanan; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. from the Graveside at Tallapoosa-East Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Sailors officiating. Interment will follow in Tallapoosa-East Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon from 2:30 P.M. until 3:30 P.M.
