Kari Elise Parmenter

Kari Elise Parmenter, a radiant soul who brightened the lives of those around her, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Carrollton, Georgia. Born on April 20, 1978, in Austell, she was the daughter of the late Karen Gladden Cain and the late Mark Stephen Cain.

Kari, a 1996 graduate of Haralson County High School, continued her education at Georgia Highlands in Rome.  She spent some time working as a veterinarian technician and then worked for several years as an insurance agent.  Kari found great joy in her beloved animals - her dogs, Steadman and Piper, her cats, Honey Bear and Rocky, and her chickens.  They were never just pets; they were her cherished companions that shared her laughter and love.  Her heart belonged to the great outdoors, where she adored the beach, camping and fishing.  A lover of adventure, Kari delighted in riding through the mountains on her motorcycle, where the winds carried her laughter and joy.

Kari is survived by her beloved husband, Ty Lee Parmenter of Carrollton, who stood by her side through all of life's challenges; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Kyle and Barbara Cain of Carrollton and Keven and Kalee Hill of Monticello, along with her cherished aunt, Jan and Mark Jennings, and uncle Wade and Joyce Gladden.  Kari was a beloved aunt to Braylee and Lauren.

In keeping with her wishes, Kari will be cremated.
