Karen Gladden Cain, age 68 of Tallapoosa, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023.  Born in Bremen on December 26, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Lowell Clarence Gladden and the late Anne Allred Gladden.   In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary Joan Gladden.

A 1972 graduate of Haralson County High School, Karen enjoyed taking care of her flowers through arranging the flowers and tending to her flower beds.  Her family was her passion and she loved cooking for them and spending time with them.  Karen was a loving mother.

Her survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Kyle & Barbara Cain of Carrollton and Kevin & Kalee Hill of Monticello, GA;  a daughter and son-in-law, Kari & Ty Parmenter of Carrollton; and one grandchild, Braylee Cain.  Also surviving are her brother, Wade & Joyce Gladden; her sister, Jan & Mark Jennings, all of Tallapoosa; and other family members.

A memorial service for Karen Gladden Cain will be conducted Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 2:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the service hour.

In accordance with her wishes, Karen will be cremated.

In lieu of flowers the family requests for friends and family to make donations to a charity of your choice.
