Mrs. Julie "Tea" McAlpin, age 59, of Temple passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Mrs. McAlpin was born in Jackson, Michigan on September 14, 1958. She worked as a nurse for corrections, hospice, home health and beloved long term care. She also helped out with the Temple food Pantry and 8 years with the Clean Needle Program.

Survivors include her husband William Gregory McAlpin of Temple; parents, JLR and Marilynn Inez Moffatt Einsele; two daughters Emily D. Westerman and Marilynn Meyers; four grandchildren; three sisters and brothers-in-law Tracy Blanberberger and Ken, Audrey Meyer and Gary and Molly Lewis and Buddy Charles; one brother, Joseph Einsele; special friends Nancy Swann, Alesia Simpson, Hailey Campbell, Vickie Patterson, J. R. Miles and Andy and Frankie Blackstock;  nine nephews and four nieces.

In keeping with Mrs. McAlpin's wishes she was cremated.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
