Mrs. Judith Ann Laird Mote, age 65, of Temple passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in Heflin, Alabama.  Mrs. Mote was born in Orange, New Jersey on November 18, 1950.  She was the daughter of the late John Vorhese Laird and the late Virginia Lee Williams.  Mrs. Mote retired from Lafitte Mop Company in Villa Rica.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Mote; one brother, Stephen Mari; and one grandchild, Meadow Stimson.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Marc Norton of Heflin, AL and Tammy and Shawn Stimson of Rocky Mount, NC; one son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Belinda Greenwood of Temple; one sister, Karen Jeane Mercer of Kingwood, TX; twelve grandchildren, Wade Cauthen, Daniel Burgess, Derick Burgess, Dylan Hart, Logan Stimson, Aubree Stimson, Kaley Smith, Jacent Smith, Bryce Smith, Lexton Greenwood, Nola Greenwood and Gideon Greenwood; two great grandchildren, Madilyn Cauthen and Kash Cauthen; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Friday, June 17, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. (Central Time) from Ai Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Leggett officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Church from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. (Central Time).
