Joyce Ann Womack Owens, age 83 of Buchanan, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Born on May 31, 1941, in Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Joe Womack and the late Sarah Brookshire Womack. In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by one sister, Faye Hughes.

Joyce lived a simple life and retired after many years of working in manufacturing. In her leisure time she enjoyed working word puzzles, and she was very talented at crocheting. Joyce loved her Lord and her family.  Her sweet spirit will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Lisa and Marty McClain of Buchanan and Marie Jones of Dalton; grandchildren, Aimee Hanson, Amanda-Ka Wright, Karabeth McClain, Kasilynn McClain, Brett Jones and Justin Jones; 4 great grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Aragon Memorial Gardens.
