Mrs. Joy Clay Lawler, age 51 of Douglasville, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019. She was born on December 30, 1967 in Decatur to the late Kenneth Almond Clay and Evelyn Runell Harden Shadrix.

Survivors include besides her mother, her husband, Anthony Smith; two sons, Reid Lawler, Ryan Daniel Lawler and several other family and friends.

In keeping with Mrs. Lawler's wishes she was cremated.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan has charge of the cremation arrangements.
