Mr.  Joshua Todd "Donkey" Wade, age 31, of Tallapoosa passed away Monday, August 15, 2016.  Mr. Wade was born in Carrollton, Georgia on July 2, 1985.  He was an iron worker with Dixie Erectors.

Survivors include his fiance', Julie Abercrombie, of Tallapoosa; sons, Collin Patrick Joshua Wade, Jacob Todd, and Joshua Landon; father and step-mother, Ricky and Michelle Wade of Tallapoosa; mother and step-father, Lori and William Johns of Buchanan; sisters, Anna Wade of Tallapoosa and Tara and her husband Tyler Patterson of Tallapoosa; brothers, Brad and Kelly Puckett of Buchanan, Patrick and Kayla Daniel of Villa Rica, Christopher Wade of Tallapoosa; step-brothers, Christopher Lowery of Tallapoosa,  and Jay Lowery of Tallapoosa; grandparents, Jimmy and Sarah Wade of Buchanan; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. from Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Gray officiating.  Interment will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Billy Williams, Patrick Daniel, Christopher Lowery, Justin Puckett, Wayne Abercrombie and Jack York.  Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be: Christopher Wade.

The family will receive friends at Corinth Baptist Church Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

The family has set up a bank account to help pay the funeral expenses for Josh. In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Joshua Wade Funeral Fund/Ricky Wade at the Bank of North Georgia, Bremen or Tallapoosa Branch.  The family appreciates all love offerings.
