Mr. Joseph Eugene Parrish, age 54, of Tallapoosa passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016.  Mr. Parrish was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on July 6, 1962.  He was the son of the late Robert Woodrow Parrish and the late Helen Ruth Brown Parrish.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ricky Parrish, Robert "Chip" Parrish and Steve Parrish.

Survivors include his companion, Nancy Parrish of Tallapoosa; three sisters, Drema Odell and Debbie Allen both of Cedartown and Jeannie Clark of San Antonio, FL; and a number of other relatives.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
