Jonathan William Bowman, Sr, age 53 of Bremen, died tragically from a motorcycle accident on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Born in Rome, Georgia, on March 5, 1971, he was the son of the late Edward Carl Bowman, Sr and the late Marlow Fain Bowman.  In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by a daughter, Nicole Bowman, and a brother Eddie Bowman.

Working with Tributary Real Estate Group, John was an expert floor mechanic and truly loved his job.  Being a homebody, he treasured the time he could spend with his family. John enjoyed shopping with his kids and eating his favorite guilty pleasures, chocolate ice cream, Reeses' Cups, and Nutter Butter Wafers. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Amy Rivers; his children, Jonathan (Dana) Bowman, Jessica Bowman, Jamie Bowman, Jayden Bowman, Gracie Rivers, and Jacob Rivers; his step-mother, Kathy Bowman; and his grandchildren, Athena Fitzhenry, Gavin Rhodus, Samara Rhodus, and Raeleigh Bowman. Also surviving are his sisters, Carlette Bowman and Martie Bowman; his brother, Anthony Bowman; the mother of his children, Jeanette Collins; and his work family and friends.

In keeping with John's wishes, he will be cremated.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
