Mr. Johnny Arder Teague, age 71, of Whitesburg passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016.  Mr. Teague was born in Cleburne County, Alabama on April 30, 1945.  He was the son of the late William "Bill" Teague and the late Dussie Nolen Teague.

Survivors include his wife, Remonda Hines Teague of Whitesburg; daughters, Tammy (Rusty) Mattox of Ranburne, AL and Melinda (Michael) Cottrell of Temple; step-daughters, Angela (Paul) James of Dallas and Pam (Cory) Borman of Minnesota; step-son, Joel (Jessica) Thornton of Whitesburg; grandchildren, Stetson Mattox, Montana Mattox, Colton Mattox, Amber Cottrell and Daniel Cottrell; step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Thornton, Brooklyn Thornton, Austin James, Preston James, Cora Clayton and Caden Borman; great grandchildren, Bentley James and Hunter Cottrell; and a number of other relatives.

The family will conduct a memorial service Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. (EST) from Hurricane United Methodist Church, Heflin, Alabama with Rev. Benny Abney and Rev. Barry Nolen officiating.

Cremation services are provided by Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
