Mr. Johnny Pike, age 62, of Tallapoosa passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014.  Mr. Pike was born in Villa Rica, Georgia on July 24, 1951.  Mr. Pike was retired from the Haralson County Road Department.  He was preceded in death by his father, Boyd Pike; one sister, Darlene Wheeler; and one brother, Terry Pike.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Jordan Pike of Tallapoosa; one daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Gary Darnell of Tallapoosa; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Keith and Leslie Pike of Mount Zion, Joel Pike of Tallapoosa, Phillip Pike of Bremen and Brian and Jamie Finley of Tallapoosa; one sister, Linda Dean Robinson of Waco; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl and Linda Pike of Tallapoosa, Ronnie and Linda Ann Pike of Tallapoosa, Jerry and Ann Pike of Buncombe, Paul and Jada Pike of Tallapoosa and Mark and Annette Pike of Buchanan; mother, Emma Parrish Pike of Buchanan; seven grandchildren, Kelsey Pike, Joe Pike, Katelyn Biggers, Kyle Biggers, Hunter Finley, Kaysen Finley and Trey Finley; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Bro. Aaron Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery in Tallapoosa with Rev. George Pike officiating at the graveside.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Keith Pike, Brin Finley, Hunter Finley, Tony Jordan, Robbie Jordan and Shannon Deese.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Joel Pike, Phillip Pike, Kyle Biggers, Trey Finley, Joe Pike, Earl Pike, Ronnie Pike, Jerry Pike, Paul Pike, Mark Pike, T.J. Jordan and former and current employees of the Haralson County Road Department.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
