Mr. Johnny Michael Mote, age 63, of Waco passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Mr. Mote was born in Carroll County on June 15, 1947. He was the son of the late William Lawrence Mote and the late Grace Pauline Caldwell. Mr. Mote worked as a courier for a construction company. Survivors include one sister, Shirley Rooks of Waco; one nephew, Randy Rooks and his wife Shirley of Waco; one great niece, Courtney Carnes; great great nieces, Lauren Carnes and Gabby Carnes; great great nephews, Caleb Crews and Chandler Carnes; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Randy Rooks and Mr. Perry Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
