Johnny Edward Holcombe, age 62 of Bremen, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 3, 2025.  Born in Tallapoosa on February 12, 1963, he was the son of the late Thomas Edward and Dorothy Lemon Holcombe.  In addition to his parents, Johnny is preceded in death by his sister, Nettie Allen.

A man of strong faith, Johnny shared his love of Jesus and pastored Welcome Baptist Church in Bremen for more than 15 years.  He was currently employed as a bid estimator by Diversified Utility Services where he was known for always being honest and fair.  Being an avid outdoorsman, in his leisure time Johnny enjoyed hunting and fishing.  But Johnny's favorite title was being called "Pops" by his grandchildren.  Johnny walked his faith daily and loved taking care of his family.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 43 years, Christine Holcombe; his sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Holcombe and Steven & Ashley Holcombe, all of Bremen; and his precious grandchildren: Cole Holcombe and Payton Holcombe.  Also surviving are his niece, Jenny & Michael Eason; his nephew, T.J. Allen; his brother-in-law, Mark Ables; extended family members, and a host of friends.

A homegoing service for Johnny Holcombe will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Welcome Baptist Church with Brother Raymond Cash officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.

In keeping with Johnny's wishes, he will be cremated.
