Mr. Johnny Thomas Dobbs, age 71, of Felton passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013.  Mr. Dobbs was born in Haralson County on December 11, 1941.  He was the son of the late Cornelius Dobbs and the late Eloise Lee Dobbs.  Mr. Dobbs was a retired heavy equipment operator.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Bennett Dobbs; one daughter, Tammy Barrett; four sisters, Betty Jo Chandler, Nancy Elliott, Nora Brannon and Peggy Posey; four brothers, Randy Dobbs Bobby Dobbs, Billy Dobbs, and Charlie Dobbs.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry Dyer of Felton, Kathy and Keith Johnson of Felton and Sue and Tommy Martin of Buchanan; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Beverly Dobbs of Buchanan; one sister and brother-in-law Sue and Ridley Redding of Felton; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Richard Brannon officiating.  Music will be rendered by Macy Brannon.  Interment will follow in Centre Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Allen Brannon, Commodore Philpot, Eddie Mixon, Ricky Payton Bo Cook and Larry Dobbs.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
